Growing so fast.....

Sarah is growing so fast. She is turning into a little toddler right before our eyes. We can't believe it. Yesterday I lifted her out of the bath tub and tweeked my back... Yeah that felt great. I guess that means I'm officially old. Either that or she is really heavy, which she really isn't that heavy, only 20 lbs or so. I went to the doctor and they told me no heavy lifting for a week or so. Like that can happen. How do you not lift your 10 month old daugther who doesn't walk on her own yet? How do I even get her to daycare without lifting her in and out of the carseat? I guess my husband is just going to have to help a little more than usual. Ha Ha, like that will happen, but we'll see how it goes. He did help today so it's possible that he may help me. We'll just have to see....

Sarah is all over the place now. We put the gate over the stairs up at just the right time. Now she scoots to the gate, stands up and shakes the gate back and forth. Good thing daddy mounted that to the wall. Now if we can just get the boys to make sure they always close the gate behind them we will be all set. She still hasn't crawled on her hands and knees yet but she does the military crawl pretty fast. Once second she is in the bedroom, the next clear down the hall and into the family room. Little speed demon. She has 3 teeth that she pretty much got all at once and turned into a toddler overnight. She could slow down just a little, I won't mind in the least bit.

All the kids!!!

Last weekend, Nick came and stayed with us for the whole weekend, from Friday to Monday. It was so nice having him around again. We really had fun just being together again. I think he is really surprised at how much Sarah has grown. She gets bigger everyday and he still remembers her as an infant. She of course loves him to death because he pays so much attention to her and plays with her all the time. It's like having a new playmate.

I finally got a picture with all the men in my life. They look so good with their hair short, and by that I mean the boys. I love the short hair. They look a lot like their dad, who of course is handsome. He is a good dad and the boys love him so much.

Sarah is growing so much. She went from rolling all over the place to scooching ? everywhere. It's like a military crawl and she moves pretty fast. She can get anywhere she needs to and is starting to get into everything all the time. We finally put up the gate over the stairway because that is always the direction she wants to go in. Crazy... She had 2 teeth now and thinks she can eat everything we eat. Of course she is still putting everything in her mouth still. She is getting so big so fast. I try not to miss anything but it's hard when you have to work. Of course she is the bully at the babysitters, always picking on the littler kids...

She is just so cute I can't stand it. She talks all day long, mainly
"daddy" of course. She loves to dance to music and whenever she hears it she starts to move, baby dancing, but it's so cute. She is a happy baby and we are lucky to have her. Good thing she is as cute as she is, because that's all we are having. We get to spoil her all we can....

Swiss Days

OK so it's been a while since I posted anything but we all went to swiss days for Labor Day weekend and hung out with the family and had a blast. The best parts of course were shopping on Friday and hanging out with the family in the cabin while it rained on Sunday and Monday. We never play games like that anymore and it was so much fun. Even though Andrew trys to cheat, but you know my motto, If your not cheating your not trying! Just kidding. It was fun and we should do it again....

Andrew started football and his 1st game was the Saturday of Swiss Days so Sarah and I came home to see him play. He is an awesome player and the team won...

Jerald and Sarah have watched him practice a few times....Way to go Copper Hills....It looks like football season has begun for us, which basically means we are busy every Saturday for the next 3 months. If Andrew wasn't such a great player it would make it hard, but he rocks.......

Camping at Washington Lake

We went camping at Washington Lake last weekend and we invited Mandy and Matt, and Trish and Tyler and their girls to come with us. It was so fun having everyone come with us. The guys were able to go 4-wheeling on Saturday while the girls just kind on hung out and listened to music, High School Musical soundtracks while the girls danced and played.

Mom and Dad came up for dinner on Saturday night which was fun. I'm glad they made it. They were going to camp with us but mom broke her leg 2 weeks before and just wasn't up to it on crutches. I don't blame her. Camping is hard work, let alone on crutches.
Thanks to Trish and Tyler for the great dinner on Saturday. It's just like being at home with steak and corn on the cob and Trish's cobler. It was delicious. Your always invited...

Sarah was a trooper and did just great on her 1st camping trip. Of course we have the luxury of the trailer so it's just like being at home....

Sarah's 1st airplane ride

On July 11th Sarah and I flew to Phoenix with Mom and Dad to see Blair's twins get baptized. It was quite an adventure. Mom has a broken leg and was in a wheel chair at the airport and Sarah was in the stroller on her 1st airplane ride.

She did great on the plane ride. We of course had to do it twice because of some fuel problem so we were about 3 hours late leaving Salt Lake. We were tired before we ever got off the ground. We finally arrived in Phoenix and it was hot.

The kids baptism was great. They have grown up so much. I can't believe they are eight years old. It was really nice to see Blair and Heidi and their family. It seems like we haven't seen them forever.
They were so cute and it was fun seeing them. We love you thanks for inviting us.
Of course the ride home was just as eventful, we had a big rain storm and the airport shut down so we took off about 3 hours late on Sunday night, but it's all good. We had fun and that's what counts. Thanks mom and dad for a fun trip. Sarah and I had a great time...

4th of July Breakfast

We drove out to Hanna and had breakfast. Jerald and his brother are camping out there next weekend and Jerald wanted to check the place out. We stopped at a cafe and Sarah had breakfast with us. She loves pancakes.
So this week was exciting for us. Sarah rolled off the bed for the first time on Monday. She was all propped up in the middle of my bed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while I was getting ready for work and I walked out of the room and next thing I know I hear a thud and a delayed scream. Sarah had been reaching for her toy and the toy slipped off the side of the bed and she followed. She screamed bloody murder but eventually calmed down and seemed ok. After I started telling other people I realized my child falling was pretty typical because others have real horror stories, like hospital visits and blood, so I consider myself lucky. Needless to say she cannot be left alone. I guess she can't roll off the floor!
