Sarah turned 2 years old this year and was so exited and fun. She loves to open presents and have her friends come to the party, really it's just her cousins and family but to her they are her friends. She was so excited for every present she got and had to try everything on or play with everything.
Here she is before the party posing for only Grandma of course, with the Christmas tree...What a cutie....

We went to Jumpin Jacks with the cousins on Saturday and it was fun for all the kids to be able to jump and run around and dance to the music. Thanks for coming.....

Tia Rhea made her a Dora cake and cupcakes for her party and she loved them. Her favorite part is blowing out the candle and then poking her cake with the candle and eating it off the candle. It was a great party and great birthday for her. I can't believe how much she is growing up. It's too fast and I wish it would slow down a little.

Halloween 2009

Halloween was fun this year because Sarahwas excited to dress up and see all the cousins dressed up and party with candy. We went to Nana and Bapo's to show off her costume, which was a cute witch, then off to moms for a Halloween party with the cousins. Addison was a cow girl, Emma and Morgan were Care Bears which there grandma made their costumes. They were all so cute and they took Sarah around trick or treating. She had a ball being with the other kids. She really looks up to them and wants to do everything they do. Thanks to the Lays for making her day fun.
Emery and Stella and Brecken were at grandma's earlier all dressed up as a princess, Dorthy from the wizard of oz. Brecken was a lion. Of course Mandy and Matt came all in costume too. They had a Halloween party at their house too.

Sarah was a cute witch and couldn't wait to dress up in her costume. I had to hide it from her because she keep grabbing it out of her closet and trying to put it on for weeks before Halloween.... It was fun to see her excited

Late Summer fun

We have had a really busy summer and I really haven't had a lot of time to post anything but here are some sun late summer photos...
Stella had a birthday party at Jumpin Jacks and Sarah had a blast. She really worked up a sweat bouncing....
Here we are getting ready for work...I took the picture myself and Sarah doesn't know what to make of it...

Sarah and Brandon, her friend (really her cousin but she calls him her friend), playing in Nana and Bapo's backyard at a party. She loves her Brandon....

We hiked Timpanogas cave. It felt like we hiked 10 miles even though it's only about a mile and a half. Of course this picture is after we toured the cave and are all cooled off.... We had a great summer!!!!!

Summer 2009

We have been so busy this summer that I haven't posted for a while, so this is just a sample of what happened this summer....
We went camping in out new trailer a lot this summer. We love it and Sarah thinks it is her new house and loves when people come with us.
Daddy and Sarah love to take naps together on the couch in the trailer...Cute...

Jerald decided to get himself a motorcycle, Harley Davidson of course. He is in heaven and absolutely loves it. He took the motorcycle course and was so proud of himself that he had the biggest bike and passed the course. I guess there was only 6 people and only 3 passed. He loves his bike.

We went camping with the Paynes a couple of times this year. Sarah loves her cousin Brandon and her Tio Jeff. We plan on doing this a lot more before the season is over...

Sarah went to Tina's Glitter Toes party and got her toes glittered. She was so excited and all she would say for days after was "Pretty, Gorgeous, and Cute" and point to her toes. She was pretty patient and loved doing what the adults were doing. Emery and Stella came and got toes done also with Grandma. Thanks Tina for having the party and inviting us...

This summer Jerald and his dad, Bapo, built Sarah a swing set. The set was a prefab set that you just get the wood for and was supposed to take 1.5 hours. However, it took them almost 6 hours to build on one of the hottest Sundays in July. I think the were frustrated by the end but Sarah loves it and loves playing on it in the yard, and I love having it. Thanks guys for all the time it took....

Zoo trip

We took Sarah to the Zoo for the first time. She was pretty overwhelmed with everything going on and the kids that were at the zoo. We went with Lisa and her kids, Emery, Stella and Brecken and I think we all had a good time.
We rode the train around the zoo and checked out the snakes, monkeys, and elephants. Of course, Sarah's favorite part of the whole day was eating sno-cones which we could have done anywhere but I think it was more for me than her.

This is all of us having lunch, and Emery asking when we could go to the gift shop to buy something....

The night before Stella and Emery did a tumbling performance at Bingham high school and we went to watch. Sarah was a nightmare, running around everywhere thinking she was on stage. I need to get her into an activity.

California Wedding

My cousin Jennifer got married in wine country in June and we all traveled to see her. It was so much fun, and relaxing to travel with no kids or husbands. Thanks to mom and dad for taking us on this trip, and thanks to Jennifer for getting married so we could take this trip. It was a blast....

We all danced and had a lot of fun at the reception. Mom and Dad shouldn't have since they were in a motorcycle accident and dad broke his leg, note the walking cast, and mom tore her rotator cuff and couldn't lift her arm the whole trip. They were troopers.

We got to hang out with cousins that we hardly ever see even though we live close to each other. It was fun just seeing everyone and acting young again.

We all had fun, and got a little bit on each others nerves but it was just like old times.

remodeling

So we are finally in the ending stages of out remodelling. We have tiled our entry way and both bathrooms and I love it. I can't wait for new carpet to come then we are really done for a while. I have wanted to get rid of the carpet in our master bathroom since we moved in. Only took seven years to make it happen.....

Mother's Day

Mothers Day was great this year. My sisters and I did the race for the cure on Saturday morning. Lisa took Brecken and I took Sarah and we both walked the race. Trish and Mandy ran the race because they are training for a 1/2 marathon. It was fun to get together. We did dinner for mom at her house later that night, which Jerald cooked, and that was awesome.

Later that night, Jerald and I went to the Eagles concert. It was really fun.
Even though they are old they sounded great.

Sunday we went to Jerald's sisters house for brunch and then just hung around the house. It was really relaxing and it was so much fun to have someone to be a mom to on Mother's Day...I love my family.

Mexico Vacation

Jerald and Jeff went fishing one day while Andrea and I stayed back and went to the spa. They had so much fun.
They both caught as many fish as they could in an 8 hour boat trip. It was just the 2 of them on the boat with the 2 guides and they had a blast. They both came back tired and happy so it was worth it for them.

Here is the view outside of our room. We had a great pool that we hung out at pretty much most of the time.
There was 3 pools at the hotel and we hung out at the quiet one. There was also a kid pool and a party pool that had activites going on most of the time.

We went to dinner at a restaurant on the last day that overlooked the whole town and ocean. It was beautiful and fun to just relax. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Mexico Vacation

Sorry it has taken so long to post our vacation photos.
Jerald and I went to Puerto Vallarta in March with Andrea and Jeff and no kids. It was a wonderful vacation. We did a whole lot of relaxing and lounging around the pool and we were pampered in our all inclusive resort. We had so much fun. Our hotel had it's own private beach that had wonderful sunsets and 3 great pools. There were iguana's walking around and peacocks too, that were like the hotel's pets.

We did go on a boat trip over to a private island so dinner by candlelight (because there was no electricity on the island) and a dancing show that showed the cultural aspect of the county. It was really cool and beautiful.

We had a great time and got a lot of relaxing done while we were there. We got a lot of sun, check out Jerald's eyes. This was only half way through the trip. It was worse by the end. He looked like he belonged there. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back.

Go Utes!

Well, I'm a little late but I had to post this cute picture of Sarah in her cheerleading outfit. We had some family over to watch the game and Sarah was raring to go cheering the team on. It was fun and the Utes won so it was even better..... Go Utes...
